When flying to Durban, you will land at the King Shaka International Airport (DUR). The airport is strategically located at the gateway to the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa. The airport is modern and offers excellent facilities, including a range of food outlets, duty-free shopping, and VIP lounges. It has five terminals: T01 (main terminal), T02, T03, T04 and T05.
The Durban International Airport is located about 20 km (12 miles) from central Durban on a stretch of land between Moses Mabhida Stadium and Shaka Marine World, with an entrance to Kingsway Road where public buses are also available for transport into the city center.
If you need luggage storage after landing, it is available at the T01 main terminal on levels two and four. You can access this area by taking the escalator on level one. The storage rates are done on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
At the international arrivals section, there is a KwaZulu-Natal Tourism Information Desk, which provides information about destination attractions in Southern Africa as well as local tours. The information is located on level two of the T01.

Except for the uncleaned tray, and the delay in serving food for our section (which may have been due to the location of our row) everything else was good. The crew were very professional and responded to our requests promptly throughout the flight. We as a family were not disappointed by Emirates.
