Unbelievable food and service! Chefs are amazing onboard. WiFi spotty
A fairly standard 2/2 configuration. Boeing 787-9 is modern but the amenities chosen by Turkish for their seats are slightly limited - no in-seat charging, for example. Otherwise, a good flight.
Make sure to request a vegetarian meal in advance. They printed out menus for all passengers with the options but by the time they were halfway through (for breakfast and dinner), the vegetarian options were already all taken.
Same as before boarding process and lack of crew experience in the process
Their weakness is in boarding. Business class rarely boards first and there are no announcements explaining delays, so customers are always left waiting and wondering why boarding has paused.
Flight was delayed then we had to redirect for medical emergency during which time we had no information on what is the plan. The connecting flight was also delayed.
Horrible, they forgot our luggage, the food was terrible, the crew were rude, the flight was delayed, I hated every aspect of this flight

My flight was cancelled with no warning! I had to find out right at the airport when I arrived from my previous flight!

The flight was delayed and I was stressing the whole time about whether I would make my next flight.
Crew were professionals. However, the plane seats are too small -essentially there is no space to move around which for so many hours is almost inhuman but certainly unacceptable. Same with the bad quality of food and the fact that you need to purchase Wi-Fi
The staff was not at pleasant as those on the first leg of our trip.
I remember flying with Lufthansa many years ago, and it used to be an amazing airline with more technologically savvy and roomy planes, but unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore. The space between the seats is much smaller, which is ok for short flights, but definitely not for across the Atlantic flights. Not sure if I’ll opt for Lufthansa the next time, maybe just if necessary.
Both my flight to Germany and my flight from Germany to the USA were delayed which caused me to miss my connection and additional stress. I had to stay overnight in Chicago, compensated by the airline. All very frustrating. We sat in the runway in Germany for over an hour? Which was never explained and caused the additional day of travel.
Boarding delayed 1.5 hours. Ended up sick because of all the delays and lines waiting around airport and boarding.
Solid old-school airline, comfortable, efficient and pleasant. It's the small things like nice blankets, good legroom and complementary mixed drinks, even in economy class. Can recommend!
Crew was excellent. Sat us together after the airline changed our seats. This was the smaller plane/shorter flight so no entertainment or food.
