I took all the insurance. Driving in Brazil is a contact sport. We got a flat. I called for roadside service and was told to take the tire off and get it fixed. I am 60 years old and I don’t change my tires at home. I do not speak Portuguese so even if I got the tire off the car, I would not know where to take it nor could I talk to them if I found them! I asked for a supervisor and was told there was none. I walked to the local Localiza store. (Localiza is the Alamo partner in Brazil). Asked for a manager and was told to drive the car there and they would swap cars! So we distorted the tire driving it flat and they gave us a different car. The moral to the story? USE MOVIDA IN BRAZIL! They would have brought me a New car no questions asked!
