The Achilles heel of the experience with Qatar Airways is the Doha Airport, especially for travellers arriving into Doha and not transiting. This airport suffers from being ambitiously big and the immigration into Qatar being overly time taking. At the end of my particular flight in which my travel was ending in Doha, the plane parked at a very remote terminal, from where it took me 30 minutes to arrive just at the immigration counter, with fast paced walking and the time on a train inside the airport. Then, at the immigration counter it takes up to a minute or more to process each tourist visitor,due to time taking face and finger scanning processes and langugage barriers if there are questions or information to be exchanged verbally with the officers. If several planes have landed at the same time, it is not unusual that one has to wait 45 to 60 minutes in the immigration queue. In short, the frustration of arriving at Doha takes away all positive vibe of the airline, as the airline and the airport are heavily intertwined and are marketed together.
It was ok, not much more can be said, as long as airlines/aircraft manufacturers insist on cramming in as many seats as possible....best of a bad situations, seats are simply too uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few hours. Lack of flexible headrests not a help on long overnight flights either.
Liked some flight attendants. 1 was rude I'll not say her name I don't want to get her jn trouble on my flight back to Dallas from Doha. Very rude to some races of people clearly. She needs a better attitude and bedside manners. Asking her questions and she responds "WHAT" twice rudely like I was bothering her and "is it going to be cranberry or mango juice with an attitude".
I had to stay in the airport 15 even with a hotel reservation..i was refused to inter to qatar cuz the hotel was outside the airport. They could have offered a solution. It was really exhausting for me and my family.
The American/Hollywood movies in the entertainment system lack english subtitles, they tend to have only arabic subtitles. Coupled with the low quality airplane earphones and cabin noise, it sometimes is difficult to follow the movie dialogues.
This trip was the most comfortable one I have ever experienced, the team was excellent and very helpful. I am so glad I picked Qatar Airways.
I was unable to pre purchase sear upgrades or internet. Their online site is not user friendly and poor. I felt singled out in customs. Seats are very small even for a small person.
They didn't board by zones and it was a free for all. The 16 hour flight was the most excruciating experience of my life and the seats were TINY... with no leg space and my feet were swollen immediately. The food was so bad it was inedible.
Qatar Airways did a very good job. Flights were slightly delayed with boarding but pilots made up time by arrival. The food was OK, no better or worse than other airlines. Although it would be nice to have three meals during 16 hours flight instead of two.
The space was tight, hardly any leg room and the crew surprisingly were busy and did not take the time to attend to passengers, felt rushed. There was a delay for check in since the systems were down the airport staffs were accommodating

After paying for seats, I was cramped, my daughters legs kept hitting the seat in front, I had no overhead bin space and no help from stewards on board, the food was served cold, when asked for snacks was told to wait and never received any, the flight was cold with no temperature controls. Boarding catastrophic let alone have to claimb the plain rather than using jetway. 5.5 hr delay leaving had to do stop in Lgw for a new crew which further compounded the delay. Connecting flight would not wait and had to pend a night in a hotel. Curiously my seat would not go full flat.

It was very bad experience with Ethiopian airlines . The flight was delayed in both ways . On the way coming back one of the crews dropped hot coffee on my whole body and other crew dropped used dirty glasses on top of me . The same crew that dropped hot coffee on me hit me with the food trolley on my knee while I was sleeping . I couldn’t sit properly due to the pain on my knee caused by those irresponsible crews . Flight was delayed an hour. Also, I bought an extra legroom seat online; but the actually plane was a different configuration so I didn't get what I paid for . This happened on the Addis to Lusaka leg of my trip.

Food was really not appealing. There was a blocked sink in the toilet. Toilet is cramped and the wall between the 2 toilets are not secured properly.

Pleasant, relaxed flight. I had 2 seats to myself, which was a bonus. I couldn't find a flight tracker ap so I could know where we were but that's a minor complaint. On the plus side, the passenger announcements did not come through my earphones but were on main speakers only. That was a nice touch.

My outbound flight was grounded in Lusaka so we never made it to Paris. DO NOT fly this airline you will be stranded and your plans will be completely disrupted

Poor communication: Flight come directly to kigali , didn’t come via mumbasa. Favouring to Rwandan passenger to move from economic to bussiness class after flight depart. Check in was madness. Boarding was madness. The flight itself was OK, and the flight attendants were nice. Connection to my next flight was two hours. But based on my arrival gate in Cairo, and next departure gate in Cairo, the whole two hours were needed given the inefficient procedures. At the end of my journey (connected to Lufthansa after Egyptair), my checked luggage did not arrive, and after 4 days, has still not arrived.

It was appalling! Using small aircraft for 5 hour flights is ridiculous! No legroom, terrible food, no drinks apart from water, tea and coffee (once only) makes it a terrible experience. The cabin staff really badly handled the behaviour of an extremely obnoxious woman who insisted on fully reclining her seat for the duration of the flight with a very tall man behind her. She abused his and the staff and they were not able to deal with her at all other than to tell the man that they are reclining seats and they could not prevent her from doing so. They were also very slow to react when a large nu of passengers stood up and started taking their luggage out of the overhead bins whilst the aircraft was still taxiing at Heathrow. I will never fly Egypt Air again! I know this isn’t the airline’s fault but the security at Cairo airport was a joke. With the terrible security record on flights out of Egypt, they really need to take it seriously. Scanners weren’t working, liquids were allowed on, only one person operating the cray machine and searching bags caused a massive backlog of people…I’m convinced you could have got anything onto that plane if you were determined enough. By the way, it was the same story in Aswan airport.
The plane was old and several things were broken including my seat. The sinks in the restrooms didn’t drain. The armrest on my seat was broken so the seat was constantly reclined. The tray table was broken. The fabric was coming off the seats. The overhead bin doors wouldn’t stay locked. The hotel accommodation was disgusting.
Boarding was chaotic and disorganized, and the foot rest to my seat was broken. But the food was good and the flight attendants were kind and attentive.

Cairo airport has probably the most stressful and overcomplicated security system in the world. Can't really blame Egypt Airlines.
