Westjet cancelled flight and put us on redeye.
Found the seats very crowded—too close together ! And waited a long time for our luggage All staff at both ends were excellent!!!
Good. Would be better if the carry on baggage was free.
First flight out in the morning is often the best chance of running on time. Not in this case, which unfortunately is now what passengers can expect as what is common. - If you are late for a flight, too bad for you. - If West Jet is late, too bad for you. - Bags don't make it? Too bad for you. - Flight change by 1+ days, too bad for you Prices continue to increase, while customer service nosedives. This is backwards and in any other develop country would be considered unacceptable - except for Canada. Too bad for us.
Flight cancelled and Kayak switched our return flight to a red eye. Ridiculous.

Lots of delays and a broken plane, would not recommend
Horrible. I checked out myself that it seems that I can have a free carry-on. But they ask me to pay $75 when we are nearly boarding. It was tricky during check out that make you mistake that you can have a carry-on beside your personal item. Also they ask $75 in the airport instead of $35 during checkout. So the whole process is designed to make you this mistake
Westjet is one of the worst airlines in the world. 100% guaranteed to have flight delays and flight cancellations. Will never book again with Westjet.
Westjet is the worst airline. If you fly with them, you can expect 100% delays or flight cancellations. I support all Canadian, but not Westjet. They are terrible at what they do and will avoid them as much as possible.

WestJet is a low-cost carrier that strives to deliver affordable travel both throughout Canada and across the world. It flies to more than 25 countries, which are spread across North America, Central America, Europe and the Caribbean. Budget-conscious vacationers make up a significant section of the customer base, with services to the Caribbean and southern American states available.
The primary base of the airline is in Toronto, with the hub responsible for more daily departures than any other location. It also serves as the most common link to the United Kingdom and Europe. WestJet also operates out of hubs in Calgary and Vancouver.
WestJet Encore, WestJet Link and Swoop are subsidiaries of the larger carrier. The Encore airline focuses on regional services, while Link aims to connect smaller Canadian cities with primary airports. Swoop is an ultra-low-cost airline that is based in Hamilton.
While they are not part of a specific airline alliance, a joint venture partnership is in place with Delta Air Lines as well as numerous codeshare agreements. The association with Delta Air Lines includes the sharing of hubs, meaning WestJet has smoother access to cities such as Atlanta, Boston, and Seattle in the United States.
