Pros:The bed was super comfortable. The master suite was amazing and completely affordable. Service, food, amenities and staff where efficient and great.

Pros:The resort itself was beautiful. The room were very nice and we had a nice view of the ocean. Our favorite part was the staff. They were very friendly and got to know us. They knew my boys names and invited them to the activities. There were many activities for the whole family. Everyone checks on you and are very accommodating. They had cooking classes for guacamole and ceviche that we really enjoyed. The French restaurant was the best food there.
Cons:We were very disappointed in the food. The first day we ate at the seafood restaurant and my son and I woke up very sick throwing up. The rest of the family was sick to their stomach for the rest of our week. We came to find out other families had gotten sick also after eating at the same restaurant. The bathrooms by the pool were very dirty with toilets overflowing. There was a lot of seaweed at the beach so we couldn’t really swim there. It would have been nice if there were evening entertainment for the kids like movies by the pool. The evening entertainment wasn’t very good. You would think the Mexican food would be the best part and authentic but it was not good at all. They had guacamole and queso and it was gross. Nothing good to snack on by the pool. The most frustrating part was that the restaurants are closed and open on different days and there is no way to know when unless you ask. So you can’t plan which restaurant to go which night. They should have flyers all around letting you know. One night they said there would be pizza and then my boys went and they had canceled it after telling us about it that afternoon. The employees weren’t consistent about the dress code. Some said pants required others said no. It stormed our last two days which of course is out of their control but they had no indoor places to hang out other than the lobby. Everyone was going stir crazy. They need rooms with tv’s and movies. Tables to play games. Overall we had a good time with our family but would not recommend this place or go back.

Pros:The resort grounds are beautiful. The architecture and design has a luxurious feel to it all throughout the property. we stayed in the most basic room which is interesting because it was amazing. There are more than 7 restaurants and 4 bars to check out. Everything is included.
Cons:That they don't include at least one spa treatment like a massage with your stay. I think it would add a nice touch instead of trying to make people spend more money as soon as they check in. I found it to be the only experience that lacked class during our stay. The resort credit compared to other resorts is minimal and their coupons don't cover the cost of any substantial spa treatment or experience.

Cons:Construction! Beach had a lot of seaweed in the water despite cleaned multiple time. Bed was hard and uncomfortable Housekeeping didn't replenish towels every day Hotel was a minimum 45 minutes away from excursions. With pickups from other hotels you're at a minimum of 1 hour to 1.5 hours before getting to destination The hotel pushes you to book tours through Amstar, who resells other companies' tours for a huge markup. Too many kids despite being in mid-October. Missing pool tiles

Pros:The staff was amazing, the rooms were very clean, front desk was warm and welcoming. Overall the staff made the experience very enjoyable.
Cons:The food available during the day was not good at all. The only food worth eating are in the restaurants at night.
