Kos’ coastal resorts are ideal if you love swimming in the sea or enjoy water sports. Hotels on the island's south coast, like the Blue Lagoon Village, will situate you just a 3min walk from the Water Sports Blue Lagoon Village activity centre. Meanwhile, on the island’s north coast, hotels like the Horizon Beach Resort are located just a 10min walk from the Lido Water Park and a 3min walk from the Horizon Surfing Centre on Troulos Beach.

If you want to experience Kos’ unique cuisine, the perfect location to base yourself is at one of the hotels in Kos town. Kos hotels in the town centre, such as the Blue Lagoon City Hotel or the Olympia, are situated close to a wide range of bars and restaurants. Visitors based here will find many restaurants to sample local seafood dishes, try world cuisines, or enjoy a cocktail within walking distance.

Kos town has some fantastic cultural and historical attractions, including the Roman Odeon ruins, the Altar of Dionysus, and the Archaeological Museum of Kos.
