The vehicle did not handle well. I felt very uncomfortable driving the vehicle. When accelerating the vehicle moved in a Jenkins fashion. When taking left turns the vehicle pulled tremendously. And, when braking, it was not smooth in coming to a stop. I initially thought it was the type of vehicle but throughout the course of the week it became apparent that some of the issues were brought on by lack of maintenance on the vehicle. (On my way home from the rental site the service light came on stating that it wS past due for an oil change. ) The saying "You get what you pay for...) was very true in this case. The first car was so smoky that the family we rented it for, with two young children, could hardly stand the smell.
