Drop off was quite a problem as they had no parking spots available as instructed to park the car in those spots and no one working at the time not couldn’t get any time of help on what to do over the phone either. That took a whole lot of extra minutes and we almost missed our flight. On top of that, I never got my receipt back after the opening hours so decided to call to make sure all was ok and they said the reservation number I had which was my hertz receipt number given by them wasn’t pulling up my information, was someone else. They couldn’t find my reservation with the number they provided me nor my drivers license nor my last name. Finally only by my credit card charge they found me but said it was a different reservation number than I had - which was my hertz receipt tho. And then they said it was still an open reservation as if I still had the car when I absolutely didn’t. So they still haven’t checked it out and finalized my rental. By 11pm I finally got the receipt email sent after calling them abs going through all that around 3pm and car was dropped off at 5am.

Pros:

Car was ready but had to get an upgrade as my choice was not available gave me the same rate as booked.

Cons:

All went well car was very comfortable.

Great customer service! Wish the location that wasn't at the airport was a little closer to the airport with how hard it was to get a ride to get my car before the office closed. Very friendly customer service though! Pricing was super reasonable!

The Drop off experience was horrendous. That is the fault of the raleigh Avis and not the one from Wilmington. Could not find the location that is in a mall with absolutely no signs outside to let you know which part of the mall to go to I sure hope they find my car as I literally had to drop it off to catch an airplane. I did find the location inside the mall miraculously and left the keys with only one person that was working the desk in the line with about eight people long. Never again Avis while I go to that location or maybe even Avis at all.

We decided to get the car a few days earlier and changed the reservation with the help of customer service of budget itself. We also recieved a confirmation with the new data. As we tried to pick up our car we had to learn that the budget shop will not honor our reservation and that they have no car for us. Fur sure we had a lot of trouble to reorganize our whole trip.

Staff was helpful but the 1990 technology was abmissmal. System crashed three times during pick up process. I felt bad for the employee. Can't believe Budget can still find ink for their dot matrix printers. Then after calling three months ahead for three infant car seats only to be told they have one and they 'weren't sure what to tell me'....um go buy some. I flew 500 miles without carseats. If you had disclosed you didn't have them I would have brought mine. Lord! Seriously reconsider Budget or Avis. I'll go back to Enterprise and pay a bit more.

Waited over 30 minutes. There was a group of about 10 ahead of me. One rep was helping people. A second Budget rep was sitting at the truck rental counter. After I had waited 15-20 minutes and a couple people got behind me in line he finally got off his butt and came over and helped the other guy process the large group. The Budget Avis lines at Charlotte (a separate rental) and Jacksonville airports (where I had to go because they had charged me for gas and the person checking the car in in the garage couldn't correct the mistake) were extremely long. I will do my best to avoid Budget/Avis in the future.
