Wry easy process. Ar was upgraded to SUV - that was appreciated. Clerks at the counter were knowledgeable & courteous, explaining g the rental process & what was expected in return. Good pricing for a weeks rental. Would definitely use National again.

The car was excellent, clean and in good condition, however, on pick-up I was not familiar with some of its capabilities and there was no effort in trying to explain or even ask if I had any questions. Though I was given a form which, I assume, was to be filled out to report any vehicle damage before I drove off, I was not given the opportunity to inspect the car and add anything to the list before I was asked to sign and initial the form and the counterfoil was removed. I made sure I took multiple pictures to ensure that I had recorded and vehicle damage before I drove off. The vehicle was not checked on drop off and I probably would have to trust that this would be done fairly. Apart from the paperwork aspects of renting the car I was happy with the friendliness and courtesy especially of your rep on drop off.

Very happy with the pick up of the car, the car was excellent and clean. Drop off was not good as no agent was there at the airport in the morning when we departed. We had no chance to check the car with the agent and late in the day the agent reported a door dent now we are having to deal with matter from a distance.

Paid a little more for Ford Edge(or similar) as it's a little bigger than the Escapes/Rav4s etc and I typically have a truck (to which there's none available) yet still got given an escape?! Didn't have the time or patience to contest getting the appropriate one so took the escape. Ready to leave then I'm told one tire has low pressure and I have to wait while someone goes to the nearest gas station and pumps it up. Sure enough by the time I'm returning the car 3 days later the tires at low pressure warning again as it obviously has a small leak. Pretty average stuff when you're paying over $300 to drive something for 3 days.

To much extra fee's and taxes. In the reservation was the price 400 dollar and at the pickup was the price 600 dollar That is not acceptable!

The final price was much higher than the price in the reservation. Ther was so much extra fee's and taxes. The price goes up from 400 dollar to 600 dollar for 4 days without insurance. That's an increase of 50 percent. That's not really acceptable. That was my first an last time with kayak and budget.

After you add on their third party insurance it was extremely expensive, worked out to be $143 per day. That is extremely expensive in my books. The car was clean though and exactly what we booked.

Location awesome. At the drop off I was asked if I brought it back full. I said yes and instead of saying ok, he said May I see your receipt.. no reason to ask if you are not going to trust the answer.Would be better to simply ask for the receipt up front to confirm..he did the same thing for damages. Asked me if there was any damage. I said no and then he made me wait while he went to check. Just tell me up front that he was going to do a vehicle check and he could confirm it was full and undamaged.
