You want to consider a smaller car with good gas mileage if you are solo driving through Brunswick, Maine. However, if you are traveling with more than three to four passengers, a minivan would be a fair choice as well to be able to fit everyone’s luggage. If you are planning trips to the state parks during your trip, deciding to rent an SUV will allow you to explore those destinations best.
For roads in a business or residential district, speed limits tend to be around 20-25 mph. However, for roads on islands that are not accessible by road, or are dead end roads less than a mile long, a speed limit of 15 mph can be invoked. Otherwise, for all other area roads, the speed limit lands at about 30 to 50 mph. Brunswick houses Bowdoin College as well as four public school districts, so expect to see several school zones where speed limits are 15 mph.
Brunswick is a small-town, but parking in downtown Brunswick can be a hassle, frustrating for residents and visitors alike, when everyone is trying to park on Maine Street. Though these coveted spaces are limited, Brunswick has lots of convenient, free, and less frequented parking spaces in the downtown only a few blocks off of Maine Street. Additionally, many of the businesses downtown make their lots available for public use after-hours. Long term parking is available in the Union Street Lot, for around $2 per day, and the Cedar Street Lot. In case you find yourself needing to park on Bowdoin College campus, be aware that overnight parking (1 am - 6 am) is prohibited on Maine Street, Potter Street, and South Street, and Cleveland Street has a 2-hour parking limit from 8 am to 6pm.

Cons:
I booked my rental weeks in advance, but less than 24 hours before I was to pick up my car I was told the office was closed and to call for next steps. I never reached anyone. I ended up calling the airport site and they honored my booking.4,0 Mediocre

Pros:
Deliv ring from ship to car rental placeCons:
Only one worker and she was so swamped that drop off was long wait until she said just leave key and she would do it and stay after hours to check us in. It was no her fault. She did ev rethink as fast and quick just 6 people checking in cars and getting back to ship was a nightmare for her. Company should provide more workers the few days cruise ship is in port.10,0 Wonderful
