Pros. The breakfast was the same as any other hotel that's reasonable priced. The staff at the desk are excellent people & friendly by nature. Nice cozy well ran hotel for the price. Merry Christmas staff at Howard Johnson!!!
Cons. The mattress made me feel like I was sleeping on top of a big rock, there was no cushion. I was skeeping on the springs, maybe the mattress needs to be changed. Horrible mattress. I was in room 123. I will never stay here again JUST because how the mattress made me feel the morning after.

Pros. Free parking! The nightly room rate was good, but saving on parking saved us a bunch. Hotels closer to downtown Chicago charge an arm and a leg for parking. Breakfast was basic, but all we needed to start our day.

Smelled musty, took ac a couple of hours to cool the room off, towels were like sandpaper, elevator smelled of pot, our non smoking room was the opposite, young men in the lobby no shirt and pants halfway down their butt with nothing said. Will not stay their again. Rooms very run down and tacky.
